TOSCA Interdisciplinary Theater Trip | 26 September 2024 - Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

On September 26, 2024, under the supervision of Research Assistants Müge DEVELİER and Ferhat KOYUNCU from the Department's Event and Organization Commission, our students participated in the closing event of the 31st International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival. This event featured a large-scale production of the three-act opera Tosca by the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet. A special quota was allocated for the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design students of Antalya Bilim University, and guidance was provided by Antalya State Opera and Ballet Provincial Coordinator, Seda MANAZ.

This event, organized for extracurricular purposes and aimed at recreation, sought to immerse our students in the arts and to foster their cultural sensitivity. Engaging with different forms of art contributes to the development of students’ aesthetic and creative thinking abilities, and this event aimed to encourage participation in artistic activities beyond the curriculum.

It is anticipated that such events, organized to enhance students' artistic awareness and enable them to establish a deeper connection with the arts, will contribute positively to their academic and personal development.
