On November 2, 2024, a seminar titled "Pursuing a Master's Degree in Italy" was held by the Interior Architecture Department of Antalya Bilim University. The event aimed to inspire interior architecture students and introduce them to opportunities for studying abroad. The presentation was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Yaren ŞEKERCİ and featured our 2021 graduate Selen ÇAKIR and 2022 graduate Gülşah Nur ŞANLI, who are currently studying in Italy.

At the beginning of the event, the guest speakers provided information about the advantages of pursuing a master's degree in Italy. They emphasized that prestigious universities located in different cities of Italy offer interior architecture master's programs that not only provide academic knowledge but also enrich students culturally, allowing them to develop their creative thinking skills.

The speakers detailed the educational process in Italy, discussing the course content and the educational system, while informing students about the challenges and advantages of this process. They also shared examples of innovative projects and practical training opportunities offered by Italian universities in the field of interior architecture. The speakers explained how these projects could help students enhance their design processes and gain professional experience.

The interactive section of the presentation provided a platform for participants to actively ask questions and share their experiences. Students had the opportunity to inquire about living conditions in Italy, accommodation, scholarship opportunities, and language barriers. At the end of the presentation, participants received information about the pathways to pursue a master's degree in Italy and the application processes, providing interior architecture students with a clear understanding of how to direct their careers on an international stage.

This event not only enabled students to take more informed and determined steps toward studying abroad but also demonstrated how our institution, offering 100% English education, encourages students to explore international opportunities in the field of interior architecture.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our graduates Selen ÇAKIR and Gülşah Nur ŞANLI for their valuable contributions to this insightful presentation aimed at our interior architecture students.
