Application Guidelines

* Horizontal transfer can only be made between higher education institutions that apply equivalent education programs.

* Transfer can only be made to the second and third semesters of associate degree programs.

* Undergraduate diploma programs can only be transferred to the third, fifth and seventh semesters.

* Applications for transfer between diploma programs are made only within the announced period.

* Being frozen does not constitute an obstacle to benefit from the right to transfer.

* For transfer to programs that are fully or partially taught in English, the student must be successful in the ABU English Proficiency exam or document a score at the success level determined by our university from internationally recognized English exams during the application.

* Student for inter-institutional transfer,

a) The cumulative grade point average of the semesters completed in the program in which the student is enrolled must be at least 60 out of 100 or 2.30 out of 4.00 (For applications from open education or distance education, the cumulative grade point average must be at least 80 out of 100 or 3.15 out of 4.00), for transfer to the programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the student's cumulative grade point average must be 3.20 out of 4.00 or at least 81.33 out of 100.

b) The student must be currently enrolled in a higher education institution and must not have been dismissed from a higher education institution with a disciplinary penalty.

* Students who have failed course(s) although they meet the GPA cannot apply for transfer with Inter-Institutional Success Requirement.

* In order to transfer to higher education institutions that provide education completely or partially in a foreign language, it is essential to be successful in the foreign language proficiency exam to be held by the relevant higher education institution or to document a score at the success level determined by the relevant higher education institution from nationally or internationally recognized foreign language exams recognized by the Council of Higher Education during the application.

Evaluation of Applications

- The grade conversion table determined by the Higher Education Executive Board is used in the evaluation of the applications.

- Applications are evaluated by the commission to be determined by the relevant Dean's Office and decided by the Faculty Administrative Board.

- The evaluation of the candidates who meet the application conditions is made according to the criteria determined by the university senate, taking into account the general grade point average, central placement score and, if any, the success in the common courses of the program they want to pass, and the transition is provided according to the quota allocated. The Commission may interview candidates if deemed necessary.

4. Current student certificate of the program he/she is enrolled in (must be taken within the last 1 month)

5. Transcripts and course syllabi (must be submitted in a sealed envelope, approved by Student Affairs)

6. OSYM Placement Result Certificate

7. OSYM Exam Result Document (Result Document with Central Placement Scores)

8. A document indicating whether the student has been disciplined or not

9. Back and front photocopy of identity card

10. Accepted English Proficiency Examination Result (YDS / KPDS / UDS / YÖKDİL / PTE ACADEMIL / TOEFL IBT) (for departments whose medium of instruction is English)

11. Letter stating that there is no obstacle to transfer

Applications will be made to Antalya Bilim University Student Affairs Directorate between 12.01.2026 / 23.01.2026 with completed documents. Incomplete documents and applications not submitted on time will not be taken into consideration. Applications can be sent by mail to the address below. For applications made by mail, information will be given to the e-mail address specified in the application form when the documents are received.

Students who have English Language Proficiency must submit the exam result document indicating that they have received the specified score from one of the exams in the table below to the Güllük Campus 2nd Floor 205 office and fill out an English Preparatory Class Exemption petition.

ANTALYA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE TRANSFER QUOTA REQUESTS (SPRING 2025-2026)

2025 - 2026 Spring Semester Transfer Quota Tables will be published on the dates authorized by the Council of Higher Education.

Announcement of Results and Adjustment Program

- The evaluation results of the candidates applying for transfer to each diploma program are announced on the website of Antalya Bilim University Student Affairs Directorate on 30.01.2026.

- If there are enough candidates who meet the success requirement, the number of reserve candidates is announced as many as the number of quotas. In the event that the main candidates do not register within the specified period, the substitutes are called in order.

- The relevant commissions take into account the courses taken by the student in the previous semesters and the courses of the program to which the student transfers, determine the semester or class to which the student will be adjusted, and determine an adjustment program consisting of additional courses that the student must take, if any, and the courses that must be exempted. The grades previously obtained for these courses are recorded on the transcript.
