The Department of Psychology at Antalya Bilim University (ABU) was established in 2019 and graduated its first cohort of students in 2023. The language of instruction is English, and the department offers a curriculum enriched with courses from various subfields of Psychology. The program incorporates courses from the six core areas of psychology defined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK)—Applied Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Learning-Cognitive-Biological-Experimental Psychology—as well as from related disciplines. The academic staff of the department consists of faculty members who hold expertise in these diverse fields. The curriculum aims to strengthen students' skills in research and statistics while providing them with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental psychological knowledge from a broad perspective.

At the Department of Psychology, students are offered both departmental and non-departmental (e.g., Philosophy, Sociology, Arts, Language and Society) compulsory and elective courses to promote a multidimensional and holistic perspective.

In 2021, a Thesis-Based Master's Program in Clinical Psychology was launched within the department. The language of instruction for this program is Turkish, and student admissions are held twice a year (Fall and Spring). The program aims to support students’ development in both research and practical areas of clinical psychology. While the first year of the program primarily focuses on theoretical coursework, the second year emphasizes the development of skills in clinical observation, practice, and intervention.
