The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering admitted its first students in the 2012–2013 academic year and has been offering undergraduate and graduate programs since then. Since its establishment, the department has provided formal education in English. The standard duration of the program is 4 years. Excluding the preparatory English class, students must complete the program within a maximum of 7 years from the semester they start taking courses, regardless of whether they register every semester or not.The goal of the department is to train creative engineers to meet the needs of industry and society in both theoretical and practical fields. The curriculum includes courses on circuits, electronics, electromagnetic fields and wave theory, optics and photonics, signal processing, control systems, power systems, and communication systems.
