Jehad M. HAMAMREH is the Founder and Director of WISLABi.com, and A. Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Antalya Bilim University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Telecom Engineering and Cyber Systems from Istanbul Medipol University, CoSINC Lab (which was strongly connected with WCSP lab at USF), where he conducted novel research on wireless communication and security, based on which he obtained his PhD with excellence and named top graduate of the year. Previously, he worked as a Researcher at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. He is the inventor of more than 20 Patents and an author of more than 75 peer-reviewed original scientific research papers along with 7 book chapters in 5 different international books.
His innovative patented works won the gold and silver medals by numerous international invention contests and fairs. He received the top researcher award of ABU three times: 2018, 2021, and 2022; attended in the list of top 10000 researchers prepared by the international ranking organization AD Scientific Index and in 2024 he was named a Top Scholar by ScholarGPS.
Dr. Hamamreh has contributed to his research portfolio by securing funds from the government and industry for several R&D projects, where he acted as a PI, Consultant, and Senior Researcher. He also presented his research at various leading conferences around the globe and served as an editor for many international scientific journals, referee for several funding agencies, jury on multiple thesis defences, and technical committee member for many international conferences. He has supervised and mentored more than 20 international Master’s and PhD students on their theses and published multiple research articles with them. Dr. Hamamreh has taught various courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including Wireless Communications, Wireless Security, Physical Layer Security, Advanced Open Radio Systems (5G/6G), IoT Systems and Applications, Python AI for wireless digital communications, and Modern Computer Networks.
His current research interests include wireless physical and MAC layers security, orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing and multiple-input multiple-output systems, advanced waveforms design, multidimensional modulation techniques, and orthogonal/non-orthogonal multiple access schemes for future wireless systems. He is a serial referee for various scientific journals as well as a TPC member for several international conferences and an Editor at RS-OJICT journal, Researcherstore, and Frontiers in Communications and Networks Journal.
