We are thrilled to announce the outstanding academic accomplishment of our postgraduate student, Ms. Hiba ALKUBAISI. Her MSc thesis findings have been successfully published in a research paper titled “Drought Modelling and Forecasting Using Shallow and Deep Machine Learning Techniques” in the prestigious ESCI/SCOPUS (Q1) journal, Modeling Earth Systems and Environment (Springer). Based on this article, Ms. Hiba ALKUBAISI received the Best Presentation Award at the International Conference on Engineering and Technologies for Sustainable Development (ACETSD 2024). Her award-winning presentation took place on August 28, 2024, at INTI International University, Malaysia. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ali DANANDEH MEHR, who provided invaluable guidance and academic supervision throughout her postgraduate studies.
