She completed her Bachelor's in Architecture at Prairie View A&M University in Texas and then completed her Master's Degree in Sustainable Design at the same school. Upon passing the exam organized and conducted by the American Green Buildings Council (USGBC) and received the credential of Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP). She has practiced Architecture in the Parks and Historical Buildings Preservation Department within the Governorship of Texas and then moved to WHR Architecture, which is renowned in the field of planning and designing healthcare institutions.

She received a full scholarship from the University of Alabama at Birmingham for her doctorate and completed her thesis on Energy Efficiency in the Early Design Stage. In 2012, in addition to teaching Architecture Design Studio and Sustainable Design courses at Okan University, the Department of Architecture for 4 years. In meanwhile, she provided consultancy to various government institutions on the Plans and Designs of Green Buildings and Cities.

She was invited by the Shanghai Institute of Visual Art in the People's Republic of China to give Ecological Design courses and continued her academic studies there for a year. She has been continuing her academic studies at Antalya Bilim University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Department of Architecture since 2017.
