Dr. Abdurrahman Mohamed joined Antalya Bilim University, Department of Architecture in 2017. He has been teaching several courses including architectural design studio, urban planning, urban design, sustainable urban design, urban theories, environmental aesthetics, landscape architecture, and urban sociology. 
Dr. Mohamed has a diversified and long experience in the profession and academia. He worked in several universities in Palestine, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. He served as the head of the Department of Architectural Engineering, and the Director of its IWAN Center for Architectural Heritage at the Islamic University of Gaza. Dr. Mohamed was the founder and chief editor of Al Omran and Iwan architectural magazines at the Islamic University of Gaza. He initiated several extracurricular activities and cooperation agreements between the University of Bahrain and Iskan Bank, and the Ministry of Transportation.  
He worked as an urban planning consultant for the Palestinian Ministry of Planning and the PAPP Program of the United Nations. Dr. Mohamed also served as a consultant at the Department of Public Works of Dubai Municipality. 
He participated in several refereed international scientific conferences and workshops in Palestine, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UK, and Turkey. He also published several articles in indexed international scientific journals.
His research interests include urban planning, sustainable urban design, management of architectural heritage, and environmental aesthetics.
